Advances in Learned Systems

Join us for the inaugural PhD Research School event hosted by the Learning Directed Operating System Expedition. This event explores the fields of operating systems, networked systems, machine learning, formal methods, and security, bringing together experts and early-career researchers to discuss the latest advancements and challenges in these domains.

Over the course of two days, participants will engage in a focused program that includes tutorials, lectures, and research presentations. The event will feature research presentations from leading experts in the field, allowing attendees to deepen their understanding of cutting-edge research.

This event is designed for PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and advanced students in the fields of machine learning and/or systems. For those interested in attending, please complete the application form by the March 31, 2025 deadline.

 
 

Travel and Accommodations

There are a limited number of reimbursed travel expenses and complimentary lodging opportunities for qualified students who residing outside 50 miles of UT Austin. Applicants admitted to the PhD Research School and receiving travel funds will be notified in early April.
